Miss. Maudie's house was caught on fire and caused Atticus to wake the children up at one o' clock in the morning.
2. Who put the blanket around Scout’s shoulders, and how does Atticus reach this conclusion? What is Scout’s reaction when she hears the information?
Boo Radely put the blanket around Scout's shoulders, Atticus reached this conclusion since they were behind the Radely's house and Nathan R. was outside as well as everyone else in town because of the commotion. Scout was disappointed she didn't turn around to see Boo but she is also excited and surprised by the thought he was outside his house.
3. Up to this point in the novel, Boo Radley has been perceived as a lunatic or a monster. What evidence in the past two chapters indicates that he is not at all the threatening figure that people have made him out to be?
Boo Radely kindly and secretly provides gifts to the Finch kids in his own way and has made friendly gestures such as giving Scout a blanket in the cold morning during the fire and gives unique and special treasures to them. He seems really friendly but shy, not a lunatic or monster as others have rumored just because they haven't met him before.
